Food Pantry Volunteers support weekly food pantry operations and occasional community distributions. This role helps ensure food access is provided in a respectful, organized, and welcoming way for individuals and families.

This is a volunteer position and may be one-time or recurring, depending on availability and program needs..

Responsibilities

  • Assist with weekly food pantry setup and breakdown
  • Help organize and distribute food items
  • Support check-in and general flow of the pantry
  • Maintain a respectful, welcoming environment for all participants
  • Assist staff during occasional pantry events at partner locations

Schedule

  • Mondays, 2:30 PM – 5:00 PM
  • Occasional one-time pantry events (dates shared in advance)

Additional Notes

  • This role does not involve eligibility decisions or case management. Training and guidance are provided on-site.
