Money Mindset for Teens
Money Mindset for Teens is a financial literacy program developed and delivered by DeKalb Public Services through its LearnU initiative. LearnU brings free, community-based education workshops directly to teens and families across DeKalb County, covering real-world skills that schools don't always teach.
This course covers how mindset shapes financial decisions, the difference between needs and wants, budgeting methods, and how to think critically before spending. Participants engage through group activities, real-life scenarios, and interactive games — making financial education accessible, relevant, and engaging for young people.
