In this activity, groups read 4 real-looking social media posts and decide together: Overshare or Fine? Before any hands go up, each group circles their verdict and writes their reason on the worksheet. Then the class votes by raising hands, and the facilitator reveals the answer. Groups compare what they thought vs. what the class decided — and at the end, each group rewrites one post to make it safer.

This activity builds critical thinking around privacy, location sharing, and what "harmless" posts can actually reveal.

We work locally, partner locally, and design our programs with DeKalb residents in mind. Every service, workshop, and initiative is shaped by real experiences and real barriers faced in our community.

As a nonprofit we exists to make systems easier to navigate and support easier to access — without the complexity.
